Job Title Category Manager Smart Residential Location Mumbai Bangalore Pune Business Vertical Yale Reporting To SVP and Head of SAARC Company ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions India Pvt Ltd Position Summary ASSA ABLOY India is seeking a Category Manager to lead the Smart Residential segment This role will be accountable for driving growth profitability and market share across multiple channels with a strong focus on innovation customer experience and long-term business sustainability You will shape category strategy oversee execution and ensure exceptional business outcomes in alignment with our mission of creating secure and seamless living experiences Role Responsibilities Develop and execute business strategy for Smart Residential products across Retail Projects Home Automation and E-commerce channels Ensure fair pricing margin optimization and achievement of top-line and gross margin targets Drive category growth plans for India and SAARC markets Plan and implement new product launches and market development initiatives Monitor and improve demand generation productivity through structured reviews Build and maintain relationships with channel partners architects and HA integrators Ensure world-class in-store demonstrations and customer experiences Oversee marketing collateral to ensure accuracy and relevance Leverage digital marketing and e-commerce platforms to strengthen brand presence Conduct market analysis and track competitor activities for proactive decision-making Mentor develop and set transparent performance expectations for team members Build internal and channel partner capabilities aligned with business goals Ensure effective installation and complaint resolution through the customer call center Enforce zero tolerance for improper installations and unresolved complaints Key Skills Competencies Strong sales and operational management experience with proven P L accountability Ability to manage and drive performance for sales managers while proactively addressing
