Regional Commercial Excellence Manager – North & East India

A leading consumer goods organization is seeking a Regional Commercial Excellence Manager to support revenue growth, distribution, and market share objectives across the North and East India region.

The role partners closely with regional sales, trade and shopper marketing, and brand teams to develop commercial strategies, optimize investments, and provide data-driven insights that support frontline execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive data and analytics support to frontline sales teams, serving as the primary resource for commercial insights and performance analysis.
- Leverage internal data, external market data, and customer insights to develop robust regional growth strategies.
- Develop strategies across:
- Brand and portfolio
- Channel and retail environment
- Distribution
- Build and execute regional activity calendars in collaboration with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop and manage appropriate below-the-line investment plans.




- Conceptualize and implement trade schemes, promotions, display programs, and other commercial interventions.
- Lead retail and wholesale activation and engagement programs across the region.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure effective commercial execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, distribution, market share, and return on commercial investments.

Requirements
- MBA from a leading business school.
- 6–8 years of overall experience, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods sector.
- At least 18 months of experience as an Area Sales Manager, with exposure to General Trade, Wholesale, or similar channels.
- Experience in Trade Marketing at regional or national level is advantageous.
- Solid analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actio
