PAYOK is an international payment gateway operating across 7 global markets including India. We specialize in cross-border payment solutions for merchants in high-risk verticals (iGaming, Forex, Crypto Trading, Social Entertainment).
Role Overview
This is a specialized, strategic Business Development role focused on securing critical payment infrastructure in India.
We need a well-connected fintech dealmaker who possesses a deep understanding of the Indian payment ecosystem. You must have a proven track record of acquiring Native Intent UPI payment flows, hands-on experience securing P2P / P2C payment solutions, direct relationships with acquiring banks and licensed PG, and experience handling local Private Limited company setups.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Infrastructure Acquisition & Banking Partnerships
- Native Intent & Alternative Rails: Negotiate and secure high-converting Native Intent UPI solutions, direct acquiring channels, and P2P / P2C payment solutionswith Indian PSPs, banks, and payment institutions.
- High-Risk Channel Optimization: Onboard and maintain reliable processing rails capable of handling high-volume, high-risk merchant traffic (Gaming, Forex, Crypto, Social).
- Commercial Structuring: Negotiate processing rates, settlement timelines, rolling reserves, and revenue-sharing models tailored for high-risk payment routing.
2. Corporate Entity Setup & Local Operations
- Private Limited Management: Execute end-to-end setups of local Private Limited entities in India to facilitate smooth merchant settlements and corporate banking operations.
- Banking Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with local commercial banks to secure reliable corporate accounts, nodal structures, and settlement facilities.
3. Ecosystem Strategy & Risk Governance
- Maintain real-time visibility into local payment processing trends, UPI success rates, and banking risk tolerance.
