Legal Associate in a team that provides legal assistance primarily to the underwriting function of the business as well as to AXA XL's legal team globally. As a Legal Associate, you will support AXA XL's legal department by carrying out the review and negotiation of business-as-usual documents together with assistance in co-ordinating shared workflows and initiatives across the wider legal team, and other legal support activities.

What You'll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include
- Reviewing, negotiating and monitoring non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements, assignments of rights, lender endorsements and other legal documents received through a shared mailbox.
- Providing support in co-ordinating projects and in relation to process improvement initiatives, both locally and across the wider legal team. Working under the instruction of the Head of Legal - Global Solutions & Wordings Strategies.
- Undertaking other legal, administrative and operational tasks as required by the legal team.
- Working closely with,



and under the day-to-day supervision of, the mailbox legal team in Gurugram.

You will report to Head of Legal – Delegated & Distribution (UK & Lloyd's).

What You Will BRING

Required Skills And Abilities
- Degree level qualification in Law or equivalent.
- Excellent written and collaborative communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn new processes, systems and ways of working and to propose current approaches where applicable. Competency in and willingness to use available AI tools is a must.
- Robust organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate activities, track actions and maintain attention to detail across multiple concurrent priorities.
