Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycle, ensuring compliance, optimizing license usage, and driving cost efficiencies across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and software vendors to maintain accurate inventories, streamline processes, and support effective technology governance.

- Software Asset Inventory: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of software licenses, versions, and deployments throughout the organization.
- License Compliance: Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements, monitor license usage, and take necessary measures to address any non-compliance issues.
- License Optimization: Analyze software usage patterns, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to optimize license allocation and reduce costs (ex: co-term agreements).
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with software vendors, negotiate licensing agreements, and handle license renewals and audits.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare software asset-related reports and documentation, such as license entitlements, deployments, usage, and compliance status.
