About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Engineer / Sr. Engineer - New Product Development (NPD) to support the development and successful launch of new sheet metal components for automotive customers. The role involves coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth product development, tooling readiness, and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new product development activities from RFQ stage to SOP (Start of Production).
- Conduct feasibility analysis based on customer drawings and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with tool room, production, quality, and suppliers for tool development and trials.
- Prepare and maintain APQP documentation such as Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.
- Manage prototype development, sample submission, and customer approvals.
- Support PPAP documentation and submission to customers.
- Participate in product trials and ensure dimensional and functional requirements are achieved.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time completion of development milestones.
- Handle engineering changes (ECN/ECR)



and update related documents.
- Support problem-solving activities during product trials and initial production.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal stamping processes and tool development.
- Familiarity with automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan).
- Ability to interpret 2D drawings, GD&T;, and product specifications.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA).

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Tool & Die Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in New Product Development in sheet metal stamping or automotive components manufacturing industry.
