Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for:
- Proficiency in Development using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM & IMS
- Understanding the functional requirement and translating them into technical specification
- Coding
- UT test cases preparation, execution and UT log preparation
- Code review
- Independent testing (ST/SIT/OAT/UAT/UVT) Support
- Batch execution for testing cycles
- Implementation and post implementation support

Skills and Experience

Mandatory skills:
- COBOL, CICS, VSAM, Database (IMS or DB2), JCL, DFSORT/ICETOOL, ENDEVOR, Agile methodologies, SCRUM, ADO, API programming, Web services (JSON, XML)
- Good understanding on Agile methodologies and able to work with various teams/team members across multiple geographies
- Positive interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred skills:
- Tools: XPEDITOR, CONTORL-M
- Integration : MQ, SOLACE, SFTP
- Domain : Banking, Trade Finance
- Github co-pilot
- Z/OSMF API
- Python (automation tool/script development)

Qualifications
- 8-12 YEARS EXPERIENCE
