Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites and plugins.
- Optimize WordPress websites for performance, security, and SEO.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development and customization.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with PHP programming and MySQL database management.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and plugins, particularly WooCommerce.
- Experience with website performance optimization and security best practices.
- Experience with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
