Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized University.
OR
Desirable: Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics / Applied Physics from a recognized University.
OR
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with relevant Physics laboratory experience may also be considered as per University requirements.

Work Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in relevant area of industry/educational institutions offering degree/diploma courses in Engineering.

The Laboratory Assistant - Engineering Physics shall be responsible for supporting academic, laboratory, and technical activities of the Engineering Physics Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist faculty members and students during practical sessions, laboratory demonstrations, experiments, and project activities.
- Prepare and arrange laboratory setups, experimental apparatus, materials,



and instruments required for conducting practical experiments.
- Assist in conducting and maintaining Engineering Physics laboratories including:
- Optics Laboratory
- Fiber Optics Laboratory
- Laser Physics Laboratory
- Semiconductor and Electronics Laboratory
- Contemporary Physics Laboratory
- Material Science Laboratory
- Quantum Physics Laboratory
- Mechanics and Oscillation Laboratory
- Physics Measurement and Instrumentation Laboratory
- Operate, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of laboratory instruments such as:
- Spectrometers
- Optical benches
- Laser experimental setups
- Photodiodes and sensors
- Semiconductor testing equipment
- Digital and analog measuring instruments
- Oscilloscopes and related apparatus
- Maintain laboratory records including:
- Equipment inventory
- Consumable registers
- Experiment records
- Calibration records
- Maintenance and service reports
