We are a reputed, multi-generational tax practice based in Lucknow with decades of standing in direct tax advisory, compliance, and litigation. Our work spans direct tax consultancy, ITR filing, corporate taxation, and representation before the CIT(Appeals) and ITAT. We operate as a closely-knit, expertise-driven team built on long-standing client relationships and deep technical depth — not a high-volume compliance shop.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Direct Tax Consultancy & Advisory - Advise individual, HUF, partnership, and corporate clients on tax positions, planning, and compliance matters across the year.
- ITR Filing & Review - Prepare and review income tax returns for complex profiles, including business income, capital gains, presumptive taxation, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Corporate Taxation - Handle tax computations, advance tax planning, TDS compliance, and tax audit support for corporate and partnership clients.
- Litigation - CIT(A) & ITAT - Draft submissions, appeals,



and replies to notices; represent clients (or assist in representation) before CIT(Appeals) and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.
- Assessment Proceedings - Handle scrutiny (143(3)) and reassessment (147/148) matters, including liaison with the Income Tax Department.
- Team & Client Management - Manage client relationships directly, and guide/mentor junior staff and articled assistants on technical and drafting work.

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience, the majority of it in direct tax.
- Demonstrated litigation exposure — drafting appeals, scrutiny assessment
- written submissions, and representation experience before CIT(A) and/or ITAT.
- Solid technical grounding in the Income Tax Act, particularly assessment, appellate, and penalty provisions.
- Hands-on experience with ITR filing across complex categories (business, charitable institution, corporate).
