Eligibility
- P.B.B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a multi-speciality hospital.
- Sound knowledge of NABH standards, infection control, patient safety, nursing administration, and quality protocols.
- Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursing Superintendent in planning, organizing, and supervising nursing services across all hospital departments.




- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centred nursing care.
- Supervise Nursing Supervisors, Ward In-Charges, and Staff Nurses, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance support.
- Prepare duty rosters, manage staffing requirements, and ensure optimal manpower utilization.
- Monitor nursing documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Implement and monitor NABH standards, infection prevention practices, and patient safety initiatives.
- Coordinate orientation, training, and continuous professional development programmes for nursing staff.
- Participate in quality audits, accreditation activities, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with consultants, department heads, and hospital management to ensure smooth nursing operations.
- Handle patient and attendant concerns professionally while maintaining high standards of patient satisfaction.
