Role Summary

The MDG Data Engineer is responsible for building, enhancing,



and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and governed master data across the enterprise. This role works closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, functional teams, and integration partners to deliver end‑to‑end master data solutions across SAP S/4HANA and non‑SAP systems.

The role combines MDG configuration, data modeling, workflow, integration with strong collaboration across functional, technical, and governance teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and enhance SAP MDG data models (e.g., Business Partner, Material, Finance, Asset / EAM objects), including custom extensions where required
- Implement MDG Central Governance processes, including change request (CR) types, Workflow design and approvals, Business rules and validations
- Configure Fiori and UI components (standard and extended) to support MDG processes
