Position: Chartered Accountant - Direct Tax (Fresher)-CA Firm
Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai
Experience: Freshly Qualified CA (0-1 Year)

Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle Income Tax assessments, scrutiny proceedings, reassessment proceedings, and appellate matters before Income Tax Authorities.
- Prepare and review Income Tax Returns (ITR) for Individuals, Firms, LLPs, Companies, Trusts, and other entities.
- Prepare Tax Audit Reports and ensure timely filing of statutory tax compliances.
- Prepare and file Forms 15CA, 15CB, and other applicable Direct Tax forms.
- Conduct research on Direct Tax laws, judicial precedents, CBDT circulars, notifications, and amendments.
- Assist in tax advisory, transaction structuring, and tax planning assignments.
- Support clients during assessments, appeals, and other tax proceedings.
- Coordinate with clients for information, documentation, and compliance requirements.




- Assist in statutory audit assignments from a Direct Tax perspective.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulatory developments.

Mandatory Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- CA Articleship must have been completed with a primary focus on Direct Tax.:
- Strong understanding of the Income-tax Act, 1961, Rules, and allied tax laws.
- Practical exposure to Direct Tax compliance, litigation, and advisory during Articleship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong technical knowledge of Direct Tax laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good drafting and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team workplace.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
