Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
- Diagnose technical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests and provide in office technical support.
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain detailed service reports, installation records, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with the technical and sales teams to resolve customer concerns.
- Train customers on the proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and company policies while performing field service activities.
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and service materials.
- Travel to customer locations as and when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E.
in Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Required Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and service reports.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in servicing medical devices, laboratory equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and calibration procedures.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Field-based role involving regular travel.
- May require working at customer locations across different cities.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours during urgent service requirements.
