Position - Junior Purchase Officer
Experience: 0 to 5 Years
Location: Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and consumable materials.:
- Float RFQs (Request for Quotation) and compare vendor quotations.:
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.:
- Create and process Purchase Orders (POs).:
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time material delivery.:
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, and Accounts departments.:
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and procurement documentation.:
- Monitor inventory levels and support material planning.:
- Ensure purchased materials meet quality and specification requirements.:
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.

Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.:
- Positive communication and negotiation skills.:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.:
- Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.:




- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.:
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.:
- Time management and organizational skills.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, EEE, ECE) or:
- B.Com, BBA, MBA, or any Bachelor's Degree:
Experience
- 0 to 5 Years:
- Experience in Manufacturing, SPM, Industrial Automation, or Engineering industries is preferred.
