We are looking for a energetic and an energetic Senior Purchase Specialist. This position will be based in Pune. This role will report to Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Manager.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to understand short-term and long-term material requirements.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly cross-functional meetings to review demand forecasts, production plans, and material availability.




- Translate business requirements into actionable procurement plans to support manufacturing schedules.
- Proactively identify material shortages and develop mitigation plans to avoid production disruptions.

Forecast Management & Supplier Communication
- Release periodic forecasts and schedules to localized suppliers based on business demand and production plans.
- Ensure supplier acknowledgment and commitment against forecasted requirements.
- Monitor supplier capacities and identify potential constraints impacting future deliveries.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding forecast changes and demand fluctuations.

Supplier Delivery Performance (OTD)
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per agreed schedules.
- Track and monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
- Drive corrective actions and recovery plans for delayed deliveries.
