We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations at our chocolate manufacturing facility in Indore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor complete manufacturing operations on the shop floor.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved formulations, SOPs and production schedules.
- Monitor chocolate processing, production parameters, machine performance and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, food safety and safety standards.
- Manage manpower and coordinate shift activities.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Production Planning teams.
- Monitor production efficiency, wastage, downtime and material consumption.
- Investigate manufacturing/process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing and production documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation and housekeeping of the manufacturing area.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in chocolate/confectionery manufacturing.
- Prior experience in a chocolate factory is mandatory/preferred.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Good understanding of GMP, hygiene and food safety practices.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage production teams and work in shifts.
