Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Convert design concepts into responsive and functional websites.
- Customize existing themes and plugins according to project requirements.
- Integrate APIs and third-party tools/services.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and technical bugs.
- Implement basic on-page SEO and website best practices.
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Coordinate with designers, developers, and other teams when required.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Positive understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugin customization.
- Knowledge of responsive web design.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is a plus.
