About the Role
WEVOW is a fast-growing manufacturer of Indian ethnic wear specializing in designer blouses, sarees, and handcrafted garments. We are looking for a talented Senior Fashion Designer with strong expertise in blouse design and garment production.
Immediate joining is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design premium blouses and ethnic wear collections
- Develop new design concepts based on fashion trends
- Prepare sketches, measurement sheets, and technical specifications
- Create and modify garment patterns
- Coordinate with Pattern Master, Cutting Master, and production team
- Supervise sample development and bulk production
- Select fabrics, trims, and embroidery placements
- Ensure fitting, quality, and finishing standards
- Monitor production timelines and resolve technical issues
- Work closely with merchandising and management teams
- Maintain consistency in design quality and production efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in blouse and ethnic wear designing
- Hands-on experience in blouse design is mandatory:
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, pattern making, and production
- Positive understanding of fabrics, embroidery, and finishing techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Honest, responsible, hardworking, and committed to long-term growth
- Ability to handle production independently
