Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Department: Engineering / Design
Experience: 6-8 Years
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the design and development of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Review and validate designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee assembly design and ensure part compatibility and accurate fits.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D; teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and assembly.
- Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and related technical documentation.
- Analyze and resolve design issues during the prototype and production stages.
- Continuously improve existing designs for performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of machines at customer sites when required.





Required Skills & Competencies:
- Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in machine manufacturing and assembly.
- Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Knowledge of GD&T;, welding, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Experience designing straightening, rolling, bending, or power press machines is preferred.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead small design teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to heavy machine design and fabrication industries.
- Experience working in custom machine design and development environments.
- Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems integration.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
