Position: HVAC Site Engineer
Department: Projects / HVAC Operations
Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Engineer
Location: Project Sites

Job Summary

The HVAC Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and executing HVAC projects, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation, evaporative cooling, and mechanical systems. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely and quality project completion.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Supervise installation of HVAC systems including ducting, piping, air handling units (AHUs), ventilation systems, evaporative coolers, exhaust systems, and associated equipment.
- Ensure execution of work according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Manage manpower deployment and site activities.

Site Supervision
- Conduct daily site inspections and monitor workmanship quality.




- Verify site measurements and prepare quantity calculations.
- Resolve technical and installation-related issues at site.
- Ensure proper material handling and storage.

Testing & Commissioning
- Perform testing and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
- Check airflow, pressure, temperature, and system performance parameters.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants during inspections and handovers.
- Prepare commissioning and completion reports.

Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with HVAC standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Implement site safety procedures and ensure PPE compliance.
- Conduct safety briefings and monitor secure working practices.

Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain records of work completed, material consumption, and manpower.
- Review HVAC drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.
