Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Dry Type, Cast Resin, and Power Transformers as per customer requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering drawings, GA drawings, and manufacturing documents.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and thermal design calculations.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE, and other relevant industry standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and testing teams for smooth project execution.
- Optimize transformer designs to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Review technical specifications, tender documents, and customer requirements.




- Provide technical support to the sales, production, and testing departments.
- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and testing.
- Participate in product development, design improvements, and value engineering initiatives.

Required Skills:
- 10-20 years of experience in the design of Dry Type, Cast Resin, and Power Transformers.
- Robust knowledge of transformer design principles, magnetic circuits, insulation systems, and cooling methods.
- Expertise in electrical and mechanical design calculations.
- Knowledge of IEC, IS, IEEE, and transformer manufacturing standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other transformer design software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
