Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Finance Manager based in New Delhi. The position reports to the Associate Director - Finance.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Planning:
- Review and validate financial transactions in QuickBooks to ensure accuracy, completeness, allowability, and allocability in line with donor and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements, including TDS, GST, and Qualified Tax filings and payments.
- Drive process improvements to enhance accounts payable efficiency, including tracking mechanisms to reduce turnaround time.
- Review monthly payroll processing and associated statutory compliances, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable laws.
- Provide guidance to staff on financial procedures, documentation standards, and compliance requirements; collaborate closely with State Finance teams, Program teams, and ICO colleagues to resolve queries and ensure seamless operations.
