Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Prepare and analyse Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and related schedules.
- Manage direct and indirect expenses, reserves, and proper expense classification.
- Process payroll, salary disbursement, and statutory deductions including PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
- Handle GST return filing, input tax credit reconciliation, and compliance tracking.
- Support import/export-related accounting and documentation.
- Perform tax, interest, and other statutory calculations accurately and on time.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits and provide required documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company balances regularly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ledger maintenance, and financial statements.




- Hands-on experience with GST, payroll, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Good analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to accuracy and deadlines.

Preferred:
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and compliance.
- Exposure to statutory and internal audits.
- Experience with TDS returns and other statutory filings.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting software such as Zoho Books, SAP, or Busy.
- Experience in a fast-paced or multi-entity accounting environment.
