Educational Qualification:
Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education / University.
OR
Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized University / AICTE-approved Institution.

Work Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in relevant area of industry / educational institutions offering degree/diploma courses in Engineering.

The Laboratory Assistant - Computer Engineering shall be responsible for supporting academic, laboratory, and technical activities of the Computer Engineering Department.
- Assist faculty members and students during practical sessions, laboratory demonstrations, project work, and technical activities.
- Prepare and maintain computer laboratory setups, systems, software environments, and required configurations for academic activities.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot:
- Desktop computers and workstations
- Operating systems
- Application software
- Programming environments




- Database management systems
- Networking equipment and peripherals
- Support operation and maintenance of Computer Engineering laboratories including:
- Programming Laboratory
- Data Structures Laboratory
- Database Management System Laboratory
- Web Technology Laboratory
- Computer Networks Laboratory
- Operating Systems Laboratory
- Software Engineering Laboratory
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Laboratory
- Cyber Security Laboratory
- Project and Research Laboratories
- Maintain laboratory infrastructure including:
- Hardware inventory records
- Software installation records
- License details
- System maintenance logs
- Backup and recovery records
- Provide technical support for students and faculty during laboratory sessions and project development activities.
- Assist in installation, upgrading, and maintenance of computer systems, servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
