Role Type:Coating Service Technicalt (FTC)
- Experience Required: 2 to 5 years
- Industry Sector: Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemical, or Sheet Metal Processing
- Education Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/DPT/DME) or/B.E
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Run daily coating or paint shop production lines according to the master schedule.
- Process Control: Monitor parameters like viscosity, temperature, line speed, and coating thickness.
- Supervision: Manage shift operators and contract labor teams on the floor.
- Quality & Defects: Inspect coated parts for surface defects, adhesion failures, or color mismatches, and troubleshoot immediately.
Safety & 5S: Enforce plant safety rules, proper PPE use, and clean housekeeping standards.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of coating equipment (spray guns, automated applicators, dip tanks, or powder booths).
- Understanding of surface pretreatment (degreasing, phosphating, or shot-blasting).
- Basic problem-solving and root-cause analysis for shop floor glitches.
- Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, and basic safety audits.
