Responsibilities:
Primary duties will include
- Oversight of the settlements team analysts in a supervisory capacity by ensuring timely processing of fixed income and equity trades, monitoring trade settlement, monitoring cash positions, completion the daily checklists and controls within the team.
- Monitoring and following up on trade fail where assistance is needed, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues promptly.
- Running daily trade reconciliations, helping to resolve breaks where applicable by escalation from the team analysts
- Assist in managing daily cash flows to ensure adequate funding for trade settlements and avoid any overdrafts
- Supporting the local manager in all project initiatives and implementing process
