We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - API Business Development to drive business growth by developing relationships with pharmaceutical companies and generating new API business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit pharmaceutical companies and meet with Purchase, Procurement, R&D;, and Management teams.
- Identify new customers and generate qualified API inquiries.
- Promote the company's API portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with suppliers to provide competitive offers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert opportunities into orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Attend pharmaceutical exhibitions, conferences, and industry meetings.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in API sales, pharmaceutical business development, or pharma trading.
- Robust knowledge of the pharmaceutical/API industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings.
- Existing relationships with pharmaceutical companies will be an advantage.
