Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs based on engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and process requirements.
- Prepare and modify programs using G-codes, M-codes, canned cycles, subprograms and macros as applicable.
- Program CNC Sliding Headstock machines, including main/sub-spindle operations, live tooling, drilling, milling, threading, grooving and part-off operations.
- Develop programs for CNC Turning Centres covering turning, facing, boring, grooving, threading, drilling and finishing operations.
- Develop VMC programs for milling, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, profiling and contour machining.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, tool holders and machining parameters based on material and component requirements.
- Optimize tool paths, machining sequences, cutting parameters and cycle times to improve productivity and tool life.
- Verify programs through simulation, dry run,



single-block operation and tool-path checking before production.
- Support first-piece trials and coordinate with QCA for dimensional approval and process validation.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining problems and implement corrective actions to reduce rejection and rework.
- Provide technical support to CNC setters and operators during production.
- Maintain CNC program master lists, program revisions, setup sheets, tool lists and machining parameters.
- Ensure proper revision control and prevent unauthorized changes to approved CNC programs.
- Participate in Kaizen, cost reduction, cycle-time reduction, tool-life improvement and process standardization activities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
