We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to teach students from Classes 7 to 10. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing scientific thinking, conducting experiments, and preparing students for academic excellence while fostering curiosity and analytical skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Explain scientific concepts using practical examples and demonstrations.
- Conduct laboratory activities and experiments safely and effectively.
- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
Student Development
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where required.
- Motivate students to participate in science exhibitions, quizzes, Olympiads, and competitions.
- Develop students' observation, experimentation, and reasoning skills.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined learning workplace.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets, and project work.
- Conduct periodic assessments and maintain academic records.
- Analyze student performance and prepare progress reports.
- Support students in board examination preparation for Class 10.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety standards.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and training sessions.
- Maintain attendance and academic documentation.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary learning activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) required.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Master's Degree in Science (M.Sc.) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent classroom management skills.
