Job Description - Radiology Technician (X-Ray Technician)

Location: Indore
Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month (Based on Experience)

About the Role

Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic Imaging
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as Digital X-Ray as prescribed by physicians
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images

Equipment Management
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment efficiently
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any technical issues
- Ensure proper calibration and cleanliness of imaging equipment

Patient Care & Safety
- Follow radiation protection and safety protocols
- Ensure patient identity verification and obtain necessary clinical information
- Assist elderly and physically challenged patients during imaging procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Documentation & Coordination




- Maintain imaging records and reports accurately
- Coordinate with radiologists and treating doctors for timely reporting
- Ensure proper documentation of investigations and patient details
- Follow hospital SOPs, NABH guidelines, and infection control practices

Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology
- Certified Radiology/X-Ray Technician
- Valid registration (if applicable as per state regulations)

Experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a Radiology Technician
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply
- Experience in orthopedic or diagnostic centers will be an added advantage

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Digital X-Ray equipment and imaging techniques
- Understanding of radiation safety standards
- Good communication and patient handling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge and Hospital Information System (HIS) familiarity
