Duties:
Power BI Development
- Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI:
- Build effective data models using DAX and Power Query:
- Maintain version control and documentation of dashboards
- Maintain / Troubleshoot existing Power BI reports/dashboards and making necessary arrangements for data refresh as per required frequencies.

SQL & Data Handling
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with IT/data engineering teams for data availability and access

Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with the Analytics Lead and functional SPOCs to understand reporting requirements
- Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks within sprints or project timelines

Documentation & Standards
- Maintain documentation for all dashboards and data flows




- Follow standardized reporting practices and visual design guidelines
- Contribute to the team’s knowledge base and reusability of templates

Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development:
- Robust proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
- Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and data modelling principles:
- Strong understanding of data visualization concepts:
- Good understanding of relational databases, data cleaning, and transformation techniques
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with mínimal supervision
- Language skills in English required.

Nice to have:
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
- Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise system
