AutoCAD Drafter - Roof Deck & Metal Deck (WFH)

Industry: US Commercial Construction / Engineering Services
Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting for US commercial or industrial construction projects.
Proven experience preparing Roof Deck and Metal Deck shop drawings using AutoCAD.
Robust ability to read and interpret US architectural, structural, and construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Experience coordinating roof layouts around penetrations,
mechanical equipment, openings, and field conditions.
Strong understanding of shop drawing standards, construction documentation, and revision workflows.
Prior experience supporting US-based architects, engineers (A/E), contractors, or construction firms is highly preferred.
Experience handling drawing revisions, RFIs, markups, and approval comments with quick turnaround.
Ability to independently manage complete drawing packages from document receipt through final submission.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD with exposure to Revit, BIM workflows, or construction detailing being an added advantage.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver highly accurate drawing packages. Good English communication skills with experience collaborating directly with US engineering and construction teams.
