You’ll make a difference by:
- Lead and manage the preparation of accurate cost estimates and customer proposals for Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Perform project take-offs and quantify equipment, devices, and materials from bid documents.
- Interpret specifications, sequence of operations,
and project requirements to determine labor, materials, controls, and code compliance needs.
- Develop Bills of Material (BOM), Scope of Work (SOW), system network riser diagrams, and supporting technical documentation.
- Analyze project scope for risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities to optimize solutions and cost competitiveness.
- Coordinate with procurement teams, subcontractors, vendors, and sales teams to obtain technical quotations and develop bid strategies.
- Prepare and deliver final customer-facing proposals and estimates.
- Collaborate with remote sales, operations, project management, and engineering teams to support project pursuits.
- Respond to technical and pricing inquiries from internal stakeholders and customers.
- Maintain complete estimation documentation and support project handover activities after order award.
