About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review books of accounts and ensure proper accounting of transactions.
- Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and related schedules.
- Prepare and file GST Returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST compliances.
- Perform GST reconciliation of books with GST portal data and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for individuals, firms and companies, as applicable.
- Assist in tax computation, TDS compliance and related income-tax matters.
- Assist in statutory, tax and internal audit assignments.
- Prepare audit working papers and assist in verification of books, vouchers and financial records.
- Handle client queries relating to accounts, GST,
income tax and audit.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned compliance and accounting work.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all assignments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year of relevant practical experience in Accounts, Taxation, GST and Audit.
- Hands-on experience in Balance Sheet/Accounts Finalization is mandatory.:
- Practical experience in GST Return Filing is mandatory.:
- Practical experience in Income Tax Return Filing is mandatory.:
- Good knowledge of Tally/Accounting Software and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of Income Tax, GST and TDS provisions.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to independently handle assigned work and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
