Key Responsibilities
1. Buyer Communication & Order Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and the factory.
- Handle inquiries, order confirmations, and product development requirements.
- Review tech packs, specifications, BOMs, and buyer comments.
- Communicate order status and progress updates to buyers.
2. Product Development
- Coordinate sample development including proto, fit, size set, PP, and shipment samples.
- Ensure samples are developed as per buyer specifications and timelines.
- Follow up on sample approvals and comments.
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, and production teams during development.
3. Costing & Order Planning
- Prepare garment costing sheets and price quotations.
- Analyze fabric, trims, CM cost, wash cost, and overheads.
- Negotiate costs with suppliers to achieve target margins.
- Prepare order execution plans after order confirmation.
4. Fabric & Trim Coordination
- Follow up on fabric and trim sourcing, approvals, and deliveries.
- Ensure timely availability of all materials for production.
- Monitor fabric consumption and trim utilization.
- Coordinate lab dips, strike-offs, and material approvals.
5. Production Coordination
- Coordinate with planning, production, quality, and stores departments.
- Track production status against T&A; (Time and Action) calendar.
- Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure production milestones are achieved as per schedule.
6. Quality & Compliance Management
- Ensure products meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate quality inspections and approvals.
- Follow up on testing requirements and compliance documentation.
- Support buyer audits and factory compliance requirements.
7. Shipment & Documentation
- Coordinate shipment planning and delivery schedules.
- Ensure completion of all export and shipment documentation.
- Follow up with logistics teams for dispatch and delivery.
- Track shipment status until customer receipt.
