Job Description - Production Supervisor

Position: Production Supervisor
Industry: Coke Oven Production
Experience Required: 7-10 Years
Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering (preferred)
Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹28,000 Gross per Month

Advantages: Fooding & Lodging Facility, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Bonus as per company policy
Duty Hours: 9 Hours per Shift
Shift Rotation: 2 Weeks Morning Shift & 2 Weeks Night Shift

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities in the Coke Oven production unit.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planned schedules.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams for uninterrupted plant operations.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Manage shop floor manpower and allocate duties efficiently.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational documentation.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations,



statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance requirements.
- Train and guide operators and production staff on operational procedures and safety practices.
- Handle shift operations independently and resolve production-related issues promptly.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Coke Oven Operations or Steel & Iron Production Processes.
- Production planning and shift management.
- Manpower handling and team supervision.
- Process monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and statutory compliance.
- Basic computer knowledge and report preparation.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- 7-10 years of experience in Coke Oven Production or Steel & Iron
