Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage the complete pizza-making process, including dough preparation, fermentation, stretching, topping, and baking.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Monitor dough production and maintain proper fermentation schedules.
- Control food costs, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station at all times.
- Assist in developing new pizza recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff working in the pizza section.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Pizza Chef or Pizzaiuolo.
- Robust knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation techniques, and baking methods.
- Experience working with wood-fired, stone-deck, or commercial pizza ovens.
- Understanding of food cost control and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Neapolitan, Roman, and Artisan-style pizzas.
- Knowledge of Italian ingredients, sauces, and toppings.
- Ability to create and standardize new pizza recipes.
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
