Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging theory lectures and practical studio sessions in Textile Design.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching material, assignments, and assessments.
- Mentor students and support their creative and technical development.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement in line with current industry practices.
- Facilitate industry exposure through workshops, guest sessions, and live projects.
- Coordinate with the Academic Department for effective course delivery.
Core Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Design or a related discipline.
- Solid knowledge of têxtile fibres, yarns, weaving, printing, dyeing, surface ornamentation,
fabric construction, and têxtile processes.
- Proficiency in têxtile design development, colour theory, material exploration, and trend research.
- Working knowledge of industry-standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or relevant têxtile CAD software) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Prior teaching and/or industry experience in Textile Design will be preferred.
Positions Available: Full-Time & Visiting Faculty
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
