Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, powering our DCT Headless Masking product.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that power both internal and customer-facing masking features.
- Develop and maintain UI components and views (e.g., React/Angular) that consume these APIs,
ensuring clean integration between frontend and backend layers.
- Own features end-to-end — from data model and API design through to the UI that surfaces them.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver complete solutions rather than handing off UI work to a separate team.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Write clean, productive, well-documented code across both backend and frontend, following best practices.
- Implement security and data protection measures across the stack, including frontend concerns (e.g., XSS, CSRF, secure auth flows).
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing for both backend and UI code.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues across the stack.
- Participate in code reviews (backend and frontend) and contribute to continuous improvement.
