Eligibility
- Certificate/Diploma in Patient Care Assistant (PCA), General Duty Assistant (GDA), or a related healthcare qualification.
- Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Support nurses in providing high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
- Assist in transferring and positioning patients safely.
- Help maintain patient hygiene, comfort, and dignity at all times.
- Prepare beds, maintain cleanliness of patient areas, and ensure a safe environment.
- Transport patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and between hospital departments.
- Assist with collecting patient samples as directed by nursing staff.
- Follow infection control practices, biomedical waste management guidelines, and hospital protocols.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
