The slope manager’s job is to ensure that everyone works towards the vision of the organisation, while observing our core values.
You ensure that our treks run smoothly, our backend operations are flawless and trekkers get to experience the unique Indiahikes trek experience that we are famous for.
You ensure every trek runs seamlessly—from logistics and operations to finances, safety, and the countless details that make the Indiahikes experience exceptional.
In addition you take care of our mountain staff and Trek Leaders. You ensure that our team members have a healthy growth opportunities.
You'll spend your days solving real problems in real conditions. One moment you could be chatting with trekkers before they begin their trek. An hour later, you may be liaising with government stakeholders, and a few minutes later, you may be overseeing a trekker’s evacuation.
This role demands humility.
Being a Slope Manager is a 24-hour responsibility.
You'll live at our mountain campuses throughout the trekking season. Each season could last a few months.

Slope managers are assigned to a base camp on any of our major trekking zones. They are stationed at the base camp for the duration of the trekking season. At the end of the season the slope manager moves to another slope of operation. For example, the Slope Manager may start work in Uttarakhand in May, move to Himachal in July, return to Uttarakhand in September, move on to Madhya Pradesh in December.
