Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Lead and oversee the api/webservices testing efforts within the project team
- 2. Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for api/webservices
- 3. Automate test cases using selenium and other relevant tools
- 5. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- 6. Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/webservices functionality
- 7. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates
Skill Requirements:
- 1. Strong experience in api/webservices testing methodologies and tools
- 2. Proficiency in automation testing using selenium
- 3. In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing processes
- 4. Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
- 5. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- 6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- 7. Familiarity with tools like postman, soapui, jmeter for api testing
- 8. Experience with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems
Other Requirements:
- 1.Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or SDET would be a plus
