Position Overview We are looking for a welcoming and organized hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The hostess plays a key role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth seating arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Coordinate seating to balance guest satisfaction and server workload
- Provide menus and introduce guests to their server
- Answer phone calls and assist with booking inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and reception area
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and courtesy
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
