About the Company

Wise Monkey Rum is an alcoholic beverage / spirits brand. We are looking for a qualified and reliable Accountant who can also handle the day-to-day responsibilities of an accountant.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role. The person should not only advise but also actively manage accounts, documentation, filings, and financial records.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the company
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and accounting reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and ledgers
- Handle invoices, purchase entries, sales entries, debit notes, credit notes, and expense records




- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance documents
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams
- Monitor cash flow, payments, outstanding balances, and financial documentation
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions
- Assist management with financial decision-making and reporting
- Handle general accountant duties whenever required

Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in handling company accounts independently
- Good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation
- Ability to manage both CA-level work and regular accounting responsibilities
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive communication and coordination skills
- Must be comfortable working with a liquor / alcohol / spirits company
- Experience in FMC
