Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, preparation, labeling, and storage of material samples.
- Support laboratory technicians during testing of construction materials such as concrete, cement, aggregates, soil, asphalt, steel, and other materials.
- Clean, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Handle loading, unloading, and transportation of test samples and materials.
- Record basic test information and maintain laboratory logs as directed.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the laboratory and storage areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum education: High School/Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn laboratory testing procedures.
