About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, preferences, budget and lifestyle needs.
- Create residential interior concepts, layouts and design proposals.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture layouts, elevations and working drawings.
- Create 3D designs and presentations using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray or similar tools.
- Select and recommend materials, colours, finishes, furniture, lighting and accessories.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors and the execution team.
- Conduct site visits and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Take site measurements and prepare accurate drawings.
- Prepare BOQs and material specifications when required.
- Make design modifications based on client feedback.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials and space-planning solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in interior design, preferably residential interiors.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of 3D rendering software will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of space planning, furniture, materials and finishes.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and site requirements.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design or a related field preferred.
