_Formwork Design Manager_

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Formwork Design Manager to lead the design, planning, and implementation of various formwork systems for residential, commercial, and high-rise construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, team leadership, cost optimization, and project coordination skills to ensure safe, efficient, and commercially viable formwork solutions while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute various formwork design for Residential & Commercial high-rise, and Bungalows-Villa projects.
- Develop, review, and approve formwork designs, drawings, and construction methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering codes, and project specifications.
- Perform and validate structural analysis, load calculations, and design optimization.
- Coordinate with Project, Site, Procurement, and Planning teams for smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams during implementation.




- Conduct site visits to ensure proper execution and optimum utilization of formwork materials.
- Drive cost saving initiatives through effective formwork planning, standardization, and refurbishment for maximum material reuse.
- Monitor shuttering inventory utilization, minimize wastage, and improve productivity.
- Mentor and develop Formwork Design Engineers and Draftsman.
- Stay updated with industry trends, modern formwork systems, and construction technologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Formwork Design within the building construction industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a Formwork Design team.
- Hands-on experience in formwork mock-ups, including preparation and review of shell plans to ensure design accuracy and execution feasibility.
