What you’ll do
Payroll Processing: Take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments for employees and third-party vendors.
Daily tasks include validating payroll inputs such as starters, leavers, and changes, supporting multiple pay frequencies, and performing pre-payroll validation checks. Success means flawless payroll runs with zero errors and compliance. Travel may be required between Weir sites within Bangalore as part of regular payroll operations.
Compliance & Reporting: Support local tax compliance and regulatory requirements including PF, ESI, and other statutory payments. Assist with year-end activities and ensure GDPR compliance. Escalate any compliance risks promptly to maintain adherence to internal policies and external legislation.
Audit & Controls: Conduct reconciliation checks and maintain audit trails to support internal and external audits. Identify and resolve discrepancies to uphold payroll integrity.
Stakeholder Support: Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries, liaise with HR, Finance, and payroll providers, and escala
