About the Role
We are building the next generation of our integration and extension platform - a set of custom modules that plug into Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP where its standard capabilities do not fit the customer, or where the customer has consciously chosen a lighter footprint (for example, running sponsor-funded research through GL project segments instead of full PPM).

These modules are built on an open-source stack, exposed through clearly defined APIs, and wrapped by an MCP (Model Context Protocol) layer so that AI agents can safely reason over and act on ERP data within role-based access boundaries. Just as importantly, we build with AI: coding agents, LLM copilots, and prompt-driven scaffolding are core to how the team ships, not an afterthought.

We are looking for an engineer who has genuinely internalised this way of working - someone who reaches for an LLM the way earlier generations reached for Stack Overflow, and who can design systems that both humans and AI agents will operate.

Requirements
What You Will Do




Build current product modules on an open-source stack (Node.js / Python / Java, with Postgres or MySQL) that extend Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP - sponsor billing hooks, PI-driven invoice workflows, budget-transfer utilities, custom approval flows, and similar.
Design clean, well-documented REST APIs as the primary contract for every module — versioned, idempotent, secured with OAuth 2.0 / JWT, and instrumented for observability from day one.
Build and maintain MCP servers that expose these APIs to AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, in-house copilots) with role-based access, guardrails, and auditability so the agent only sees and does what the user is authorized for.
Use AI as a first-class development tool - coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent) for scaffolding, refactoring, and test generation; LLM APIs inside the product for classification, extraction, drafting, and orchestration.
